This page explains what happens to your information when you take the quiz at consciouspausequiz.com, made by Jakob and Alyssa for The Conscious Pause.
What we collect
Your answers are saved as you go, including if you stop before the end, so we can see which questions people find hardest. Until you give us your email they are not linked to you: we use no cookie for this and do not store your IP address, only your country. We also count, anonymously, how many people reach each question.
When you ask for your result, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We use that email to send you your result and the workbook, and we keep your answers with it so we know which result and material to send. We only send you anything further if you tick the separate box asking for occasional notes, and you can withdraw that at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Analytics and advertising
We count, anonymously, how many people view the page and reach each step. This uses no cookie and stores nothing on your device. If you arrived from a Meta advertisement, we tell Meta when someone finishes the quiz, through its Conversions API, using a hashed version of your email address. Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we also use the Meta Pixel in the browser for the same purpose. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are never tracked by Meta in the browser.
Services we use
Cloudflare (hosting, storing quiz answers, spam protection), Resend (sending your result email), MailerLite (our email list) and Meta Platforms (advertising measurement). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies
The quiz itself sets no cookies. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the Meta Pixel sets advertising-measurement cookies ("_fbp" and "_fbc"). Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get no cookies from this page.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent, at any time. Email us and we will reply within 30 days. If you ask us to delete your data we do so within 30 days.
The quiz is not intended for anyone under 18.

The Conscious Pause is operated by The Dharma Academy OÜ, a company registered in Estonia, which is the data controller for this quiz. Contact: [email protected].
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or your local supervisory authority.
